An example from Airbotix showing the workshop format, not a student project from this session.
The workshop centres on making a rhythm game. Children bring the ideas and AI helps build them. Each playtest gives them something new to improve.
Choose characters, settings and a visual style. Practise describing an idea clearly so AI can help bring it to the screen.
Test the first version, adjust the rhythm, combos and scoring, then tell AI what needs changing.
Swap games and ideas with classmates. With guidance, publish a game link to share with family and friends.
Explore the challenge and open the creative studio.
Write a prompt and use AI to build a first playable version.
Describe what you want and explain what needs to change.
Tune note speed, timing and scoring, testing as you go.
Choose characters, opponents, effects and a stage style.
Spot problems, try fixes and add a feature of your own.
Try each other’s games and talk about your ideas.
With guidance, publish your game and get a link to share.
Based on the Airbotix Rhythm Game Workshop, with in-person teacher guidance.

Yes. Beginners start by describing their ideas, with AI helping to generate the code. Children make creative choices, playtest and refine their games.
The goal is a playable rhythm game. Children design characters and settings, adjust gameplay and, with guidance, publish a link they can share.
No installation is needed. The Airbotix tools run in a browser. Bring a charged laptop, charger and headphones, and use Chrome or Edge.
It is for curious 8–14-year-olds who enjoy games, drawing, music or making things. A single session lets them explore their interests before considering a longer course.
